<1>----------Success Unwrapped Interview and Quote of the Month

“Greatness is a choice. And choice is the democratic equalizer of all people. Everyone, regardless of their rank, social status or income level has the power to choose great over good.”
- Sharif Khan, author of Psychology of the Hero Soul

Dear Friends and Subscribers,

I’d like to introduce you to the hot success show: Success Unwrapped with Heather Vale!

“Success Unwrapped with Heather Vale is the weekly online radio talk show that ‘unwraps’ and reveals the secrets successful people use, and you can too!”

In this interview with Heather Vale, I reveal my success strategies, leadership insights, and talk more at length about the concepts and principles in my book, “Psychology of the Hero Soul.”

Heather Vale has developed a reputation for being a tough journalist in the personal development industry with an uncanny penchant for asking penetrating questions. She has asked me some questions that I’ve never been asked before and has gotten me to talk about certain matters that I would normally consider ‘taboo.’

I found it to be a challenging and enriching interview and I hope you will too. Here’s the link to our interview: (just scroll down a bit and hit the green ‘play’ button to listen)

<2>------------- Extra Special Greeting to Brighten Your Day!

As a special treat, I’d like to offer you an inspirational greeting to brighten your day:

If this doesn’t put a big SMILE on your face then reading the first letter of lines 1 to 3 (“Inside this Issue”) at the top of this blog post most definitely will! :)

<3>------------- X-files Interview with Stephen Covey on Leadership

Speaking of interviews, I had the good fortune to interview Stephen Covey on his latest leadership insights from his seminal, ground-breaking work, “8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness.” To read the complete interview click on the following link:

<4>------------- Your Update on my Brother’s Progress with Cancer

You will recall in my last post that my younger brother, Junaid, was diagnosed with tongue cancer in the advanced T4 stage having spread to two lymph nodes in his throat. As you can imagine, it has been a difficult and stressful time for the whole family.

Last week, my brother finished his radiation and chemo treatments at Sunnybrook Hospital. He had two high-doses of Cisplatin chemo and endured 30 treatments of painful radiation. The complications that have occurred during that time would be too much to mention in this newsletter. But needless to say, my brother has been very strong and courageous during this hellish ordeal. He is my hero. The staff, doctors, and nurses who have been treating my brother are also heroes who can sometimes get jaded because of how much they are underappreciated and unrecognized for the skillful but often unpleasant work that they do. I commend their efforts despite some of the skepticism I’ve encountered along the way.

Right now, my brother has reached peak levels of pain as the full force of the radiation treatments takes effect. It will be another six to eight weeks before he gets a prognosis based on x-ray test results. But the good news is that my brother has reacted positively to the treatments and his tumor has reduced to half its original size.

I believe your prayers and thoughts of love have really helped a lot. Thank you so much for your outpouring of love and goodwill! I can’t begin to express how thankful and grateful I am for all your support. So please keep praying for a complete healing in my brother and keep sending those thoughts of love and positive energy!

P.S. If any of you know of any good homeopaths/naturalpaths in the Toronto area with a successful history of treating people with cancer, please shoot me an email with their contact info. Thanks in advance.

Love and light,

Sharif Khan
